We headed to London with three children to see a performance of Peter Pan by Immersion Theatre in advance of their performances at Blenheim Palace. Here is what we thought.

Its the second weekend of the school holiday, the sun is shining and you're suddenly wondering who designed a six week school holiday. Fear not, because here at Oxfordshire Events, we have an endless supply of things to do, either with, or without the children. And this weekend is packed with fantastic events for you to enjoy.

If you're planning a visit to London this summer, why not see a show and take the children for free! Yes, we said "children for free". This offer is too good to miss!

The Banbury and District play bus has been supporting young people and families in Banburyshire since 1995. In that time the bus and staff have provided an invaluable service to children, young people and their families in rural areas of the Cherwell valley. The bus continues to provide play activities and after school sessions where there is little or no provision.

Wacky World is bringing its one of a kind, action packed, fun filled inflatable arena to Banbury this summer and we're giving you the chance to win a pair of tickets.

We've teamed up with our friends at Immersion Theatre to offer you the chance to win a family ticket to Peter Pan at Blenheim Palace, a prize worth nearly £50.

This summer, Immersion Theatre returns to Blenheim Palace and invites you to soar away to Neverland as they perform Peter Pan as you've never seen him before. The magical setting of the Blenheim Pleasure Gardens will play host to happy thoughts as Peter Pan introduces the Darling children to the lost boys, cheeky Tinkerbell, the hilarious Smee and a host of other exciting characters before facing the most feared villain of them all, the infamous Captain Hook!

Ok, unless you're Harrison Ford or Mark Hamill, we can't promise you a starring role in the next Star Wars movie. But we can tell you about your chance to become a film and TV extra.

Universal Extras Ltd are visiting Oxford this weekend on the lookout for talent, recruiting film and TV extras. If you want a chance to be in the next blockbuster hit, head to New Road Baptist Church on Bonn Square this Saturday between 10am and 4pm. No experience necessary.

Wowsers, those cheeky little rocks have turn up in so many places! We've been so impressed with the efforts you've all put in to re-hiding the rocks and getting your friends to join in. The photos you've added to our Facebook page have been brilliant so keep them coming.

We've noticed that a lot have been found and re-found in Bicester, Oxford, Didcot, Abingdon and the surrounding villages which means there's still a lot more to be discovered around the Wheatley and Witney areas.

More rocks have now gone into hiding so keep your eyes peeled while you're out and about. Here's where you should be looking for the next generation of rocks: Abingdon, Banbury, Bicester, Bury Knowle, Cogges, Cutteslowe, Didcot, East Hendred, Great Western Park, Headington, Ladygrove (Didcot), Long Hanborough, Madley Park, Radley, Shotover, Sutton Courtenay and Witney.

Get ready...set...go! We all love a weekend packed with great things to do and once again there's no shortage here in Oxfordshire. At Oxford Fun Palace on Saturday, science and theatre collide brilliantly for children to explore and learn at Oxford Playhouse. Children become DNA detectives to search for clues and solve the puzzles at this interactive event - they can even get creative by adding pieces to the huge DNA K'nex structure. Budding scientists of all ages will love it!

You've probably heard of the rock finding phenomenon that started in America and is now sweeping across the UK. You might even have found one or two on your travels. Now we've got our own rocks out there and they're nestled into public places all over Oxfordshire. Our rocks come with a little added incentive...

If you find one of our rocks, take a photo of yourself with it and post the photo on our Facebook page or on Twitter. On Sunday 19th November we'll be taking the names of everyone who has found one of our rocks and entering them into our prize draw. One person's name will be drawn at random and they will win family tickets to the spectacular performance of Jack and the Beanstalk at Oxford Playhouse on Sunday 3rd December. Don't miss this opportunity to get outdoors and have some fun because you might just be the lucky one who wins!
