The ever-brilliant Dragon Boat Festival will be back in Abingdon on Sunday where you can cheer on your favourite team on the banks of the Thames. There's plenty to do for all ages whether you immerse yourself in the fun fair, take a trip to the beer tent or enjoy your own picnic at a quieter spot along the river. 

It's the Old Town Summer Fiesta in Banbury on Saturday. A free event for the whole family - you can enjoy live music, take part in creative workshops or just browse the stalls. Go in fancy dress and you might win a prize!

Wychwood Forest Fair is on Sunday at Duckington Showground and promises a great range of activities including Hatwell's fun fair, Wychwood Brewery beer tent, craft demonstrations and live entertainment.

Bunkfest is a brilliant weekend of fun for anyone close to Wallingford. It's a mostly-free event but you can pay for a camping pitch so you don't have to leave too soon. You'll find music and dance everywhere you look, coupled with great all-round entertainment for everyone. For the children there's a climbing wall, a night lantern parade, magic and much more.

The cookery and baking enthusiasts might like Foodies Festival in Oxford. There will be live demonstrations all weekend from top chefs, wine tasting, vintage teas, children's cookery workshops and live music to name just a few things to enjoy.
