Banbury is busy this weekend with the Celebrate Festival at the Mill Arts Centre on Saturday and the ever-popular Canal Day on Sunday. Both are family-friendly and won't cost you a penny in admission. Live music, family entertainment, food and drink. What's not to enjoy?

Bicester Heritage will be presenting their final Sunday Scramble of the year where classic car and motorbike enthusiasts will happily show you around their pride and joy. The airfield will be operational and, if you feel like really treating yourself, you can even book a 20 minute flying lesson in a Tiger Moth.

Thame Food Festival is back once again on Saturday and Sunday with their impressive line-up of big name chefs, including Raymond Blanc. See chef demonstrations, enjoy wine workshops, watch the Hearing Dogs dog show or learn some BBQ mastery. Two days of food heaven.

In Chipping Norton, you'll find the YIMBY Festival staging a weekend of food, music and dance. You can learn some circus skills, try go karting and watch demonstrations in their Big Top Tent all of which are free. Four-legged friends from Adam Henson's Cotswold Farm Park will also be there. On Saturday evening, enjoy the magic of The Piano Bar and even make requests. Tickets are now on sale for the Sunday performance 'The Magic of Musicals' with top West End stars.

Earth Trust will be hosting the Autumn Water Festival on Sunday and we think you'll get a lot of bang for your buck. Activities include making water rockets, a pumpkin hunt, apple pressing and pond dipping. Plus the cafe will be open and you can enjoy some local produce from the BBQ.

Remember there are events to suit everyone in our event listings so take a look and choose your favourites. Whatever you do, have a great weekend!
