The ever-brilliant Dragon Boat Festival will be back in Abingdon on Sunday where you can cheer on your favourite team on the banks of the Thames. There's plenty to do for all ages whether you immerse yourself in the fun fair, take a trip to the beer tent or enjoy your own picnic at a quieter spot along the river.

Kids Pass - heard of it but not sure? If you haven't tried it before, you're seriously missing out. Especially seeing as you can pay just £1 and try it for a month. If it's not for you, just cancel at the end of the month! It feels a bit shady for those not 'in the know' because they don't give information about specific deals until you sign up but, in a nutshell, it's the things most families do from time to time. Cinema, bowling, eating out, days out, holidays...

If you like going to the cinema, you can now get a free ticket to watch a movie on Sundays! Perfecto! There are two participating cinemas in Oxfordshire - Cineworld Witney and Cineworld Didcot - but you can use the vouchers at other participating cinemas, including Empire and IMAX. 

If you have young children and you've never been, you really are missing a cute little trick. With it's special sensory activities and access for all children (and adults!), it's a brilliantly thought-out farm for everyone to enjoy.

Today we thought we'd go off in search of something interesting to do with our three boys. If you have boys, you'll know they generally like things to be full of fun and adventure but of course that applies to girls too so here's something for everyone.

It's raining. It would be. We're testing out the trailer tent in a quiet (yes, even in the school holidays!) but somewhat damp campsite. But hey, it's family time - woohoo! Time to learn all about those little annoyances of our nearest and dearest. Time to appreciate the things money can't buy as well as wine. Heck, we really appreciate the wine!
